Association of Christians Teaching Sociology

ACTS provides a forum where Christian sociologists can explore the implications of the Christian faith for the thinking and doing of sociology.  It also provides a place to engage in personal and professional development through concentrating discussion on the integration of the sociological vocation with the Christian calling.

Their mission is "To Encourage, Equip, and Empower Educations according to Biblical Principles."  Its members have served the youth of American since 1953 through classroom teachers, administrators, and para-professionals in education.
