CORE: Christians on the road to excellence

At Geneva Campus Ministry, we believe that God calls all Christian disciples to lives of love and excellent service in his kingdom. Our desire is to help students at the University of Iowa to think about, discern, and live out their careers as divine calling. The CORE program is a year-long fellowship designed to guide and support students who are interested in exploring what vocation looks like for their chosen career paths, and how their faith can be a vibrant aspect of their working lives.

The CORE Fellowship is a distinguished opportunity for a small group of outstanding students, to delve deeper into this topic of vocation. Throughout the year, fellows will meet regularly for group and individual meetings, will read a book on the topic of Christian vocation together, will go on retreats, attend conferences, will have mentorship opportunities, and will have access to up to $2000 to support a faith-integrated internship, project, or research.

The CORE Fellowship is open to:

  • Current University of Iowa students (full or part-time)

  • Undergraduate as well as graduate and professional students

  • American and International students

  • For those committed to or exploring the Christian faith
